Fresh Flowers And Fruit Make A Delightful Centerpiece

Centerpieces for a table don’t have to be expensive or complicated. One of my fresh and whimsical favorites was inspired by Nashville interior designer Jerome Farris from one of the many Parade of Homes’ projects on which we worked.  Jerome had mixed fresh fruit with flowers which I’ve adapted for my holiday table with cranberries and white roses.  This arrangement would also be a great idea for Valentine’s Day.

Fresh Cranberries and White Roses Flower Arrangement

This container I love to use was found at Pottery Barn several years ago. Be sure you fill your vase with the fresh fruit first, then add some water. Intersperse with fresh flowers and finish off with a bit more water if you need it for stem saturation. I love getting my roses from Costco and they seem to last a minimum of one week. This would be a lot of fun with lemons and sunflowers too!
