The Master Custom Builders Council of Tennessee is in the final planning stages of the 2012 Charity Tour of Homes scheduled for the last two weekends in May. We want to extend to worthy non-profit organizations an opportunity to participate and to benefit from this wonderful event.

By all accounts, the inaugural 2010 Charity Tour of Homes was a huge hit for everyone fortunate enough to be a part.  As industry leaders, The Master Custom Builders Council of Tennessee was thrilled to help reinvigorate the home-building industry with seven, stunning homes participating in this charitable event.  This premiere home tour attracted almost 8,000 visitors and resulted in donations of well over $10,000 invested back into our community through numerous worthy, non-profit organizations.

The leadership of MCBC has made the decision to choose one worthy non-profit organization as the benefiting charity for the 2012 Charity Tour of Homes. We are going to select 5-10 non-profit organizations to interview.  A representative from each organization will meet with the 2012 Charity Tour of Homes selection committee on Thursday, February 9 for a 5-minute interview.  He or she must be prepared to answer the following questions:

(1)   Please provide an overview of your non-profit organization.

(2)   Outline your organization’s impact on the community.

(3)   Does your entity have the manpower resources to provide volunteers for 7 houses for the two weekends?

(4)   Has your organization and your volunteer base participated as the benefiting recipient of other community programs?

We will be launching a public relations, advertising and social media campaign to highlight the event and our benefiting charity.  It is an incredible opportunity to increase your organization’s exposure while garnering a substantial donation to further your cause.

Deadline: Please email us by 4 pm, Friday, February 3, at bryanedwards@hughesedwards.com ,if you would like consideration and an interview. Indicate in the subject line – CTH.
